The story of Justin and Lauren goes back. They met like most teenagers do, through the halls of their high school in San Francisco, California. They dated off and on through the years and were torn when it came time to choose a college. They ended up going their separate ways. Justin attended school in Portland, Oregon and Lauren attended the University of San Diego. After the first two years, Justin transferred to nearby UCLA as he couldn’t stand to be so far from Lauren. For the next few years they took every opportunity to see each other, hanging out at their favorites spots, Old Town and the Santa Monica Pier.
When Justin decided that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Lauren he contacted me to help plan and capture his proposal in one of their favorite spots, Old Town! After careful planning Lauren was truly surprised not only that he was asking for her hand in marriage, but that he had hired me, a photographer to capture the special moments that would mark the beginning of their lives together.
After she said “Yes!”, Justin revealed myself and my crew and we took the opportunity to take some additional shots of them together. What a fun day it was for all of us! I look forward to capturing them through the years as they grow together as the future Mr. & Mrs. Justin Moore!
