Alyssa and Ben met in middle school, playing basketball against each other at the local recreation center. Throughout the years, they attended different schools, rarely seeing or speaking to each other, living their own lives and in other relationships. They would see each other at random moments but conversation never exceeded the casual conversation. After graduating high school, they completely lost touch with one another until fate would have it, they had a random run-in that changed everything. They started talking more and finally, Alyssa, had enough courage to ask Ben out for drinks after not hanging out in three years. After that night, the two have been inseparable ever since, and the rest my friends, is history.
