Chris planned a birthday weekend getaway for his girlfriend Mary. They live in New York City and have been together for several years. To Mary’s surprise not only was this weekend planned to celebrate her birthday but to also celebrate their new engagement. Landing just earlier that morning they enjoyed a delicious meal in Hotel Del Coronado at Sheerwater Restaurant before taking a stroll to the beach. After taking photos by the water and relaxing in the sand for a few minutes { I think Chris was too excited to wait, no surprise there}, he stood Mary up and got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. She was so excited and of course said “YES!” as on lookers cheered them on they enjoyed their first moments together as an engaged couple. Chris then pointed me out to Mary as her last surprise of the day. The three of us walked around Coronado and enjoyed the time together as I photographed their mini-engagement session. I had so much fun watching the day’s events unfold and seeing the joy in Mary’s face. The love between them is incredible. Congratulations Christian and Mary!
